High Adventure Program

Troop 113 has a long tradition of High Adventure Programs which keeps many of our young men
in the program until their 18th birthday.  One
result of that retention is the troop produces a
high percentage of Eagle Scouts.   We believe
the program has also been a major success for
the troop in general.

Every year, the troop has provided at least one high adventure trip which the boys choose and plan with the assistance of very
dedicated adult leaders.  Traditionally these have been to Philmont, Florida Sea Base or Mt. Washington.  The troop has also planned a number of backpacking trips, including a 100 mile wilderness trek.
